Signal Processing Engineering

I got a new job as a Signal Processing Engineer at Aether Biomedical https://www.aetherbiomedical.com/ I work with EMG data. We are designing decoders for user intention modeling from an armband of sensors. The muscle measurements are really sparse: there are only 8 sensors in the armband sensor.

I wonder if I could do compressed sensing with this data?
