Inequality in Science

I wrote a poem about inequality in science:-) 

Hey you 

Born into privilege 

You're most welcome 

To my poor village 

Hey you 

Nano-technologist 

I'm trained 

As a phrenologist 

You're from a whole 

 Other world 

I'm from the netherworld 

Who weaved inequality 

Into the fabric 

Of this World 

Hey you 

Beauty queen 

Make science your dream 

Hey you 

Of money and fame 

I am your 

 Hunchback of Notre Dame dame 

The world divided 

When you were born 

As cells dividing 

 In the womb 

We're not as one 

We're not everyone 

For anyone 

Hey you 

 Turn around

 For another planet 

We're bound 

Hey 

Just let me dream 

Of a more just world 

With children 

Not shivering 

In the cold 

Hey 

 Let's break it 

Hey 

You can't fake it 

We're a network 

It's a new framework 

Hey

Let's break the spell 

Don't inequality

Just ring your bell 

Let me be 

Your rebel
