EEG data
I made a bet with my friend. He said he didn't believe I could work on the fMRI dataset until July. Well, I'm making a detour. I watched Jack Gallant's Youtube video. I had an extensive talk with ChatGPT. I checked out BMI jobs. There's a cool company doing game emotional state decoding using EEG. EEG is the cheapest and simplest neurotechnology. So I decided to look for data that is similar in spirit to the fMRI competition dataset. And I found this https://www.nature.com/article
https://things-initiative.org/ There is even pre-trained networks notebook for this dataset.
Okay, so the idea is to extract saliency maps from the images and regress them to short-time FFT coefficients to see if there is any relationship between frequency and attention. There is also something called Dynamic Mode Decomposition. ChatGPT was big on it.
Let me just wrangle the data a bit more and see what I can get from it. Basically, I am swimming in neural data. I have to build something cool and apply for a job:)
